Psychological Counseling and Guidance

The emotional state and intrinsic motivation of the individual during special education and rehabilitation process is critically important. The underlying reason for children’s problematic behavior is usually due to the anxiety and the difficulty of understanding the process they are involved in. In Psychological Counseling and Guidance Unit, psychological support with a game-based approach is used to resolve behavioral problems due to anxiety and stress.

It is important that family members should also receive psychological support during the special education and rehabilitation period of the individual. Meetings with the family aim to detect the underlying problems causing anxiety and stress. Following this initial step, causes and solutions are established in collaboration with the family by using suitable approaches and techniques.
