Platform Establishment Workshop for World Cerebral Palsy Day funded by Think Civil to Make Change EU Program and coordinated by the European Union Turkish Delegation was held at Spastic Children’s Foundation of Turkey - Cerebral Palsy Turkey on April 14 -15, 2016.
The Platform, besides the Spastic Children’s Foundation of Turkey - Cerebral Palsy Turkey, included 22 persons and 1 activist from 9 non-governmental organizations providing services for the participation of disabled individuals in the social life. The workshop focused on the fundamental rights and freedoms of people with disabilities, prevention of discrimination and active participation in the social life.
Models were developed on topics such as organization models, discourse unity, fundraising opportunities, communication channels and Cerebral Palsy Day action plan in the light of international practices.
